"Facilities were in bad shape. We (a group of racial ethnic minority graduate students) were put in the back of the hotel (most grimy) and with a group of Latino workers who drank, swore at us, and blasted radios all night. We called the front dest twice to take care of the noise after one of the men cursed at me when I asked the group to keep it down considering it was 3am. I drove 4 hours and got no sleep b/c of the group of people on our wing. Question: why was the worst looking hall in the hotel full of minorities? We were told when we switched rooms the next day that there were no other rooms but after voicing that I would rather stay at the Comfort Inn across the way, the front desk agent immediately located a remodled wing that was completely empty. She told us that she would move us there if we filled out comment cards saying how great she was. I have worked at a hotel before and I was quite dissappointed by the service and appearance of this place. I have never seen a Ramada Inn like this before. The corporation should be ashamed to put their name on this edifice."
